Hi Everyone, I just joined the group and this is my first post. I've had a '72 Luxury LeMans since 1984 that I bought from the orig. owner. Being young and on a quest for speed, I wound up making some changes to the car and letting alot of parts go, but on the other hand I installed a '68 GTO 400 bored .030, with lots of good stuff inside. I got hit by a drunk in '88 and had body work and paint done, but got "hornswaggled" by a "good deal" from a friend-of-a-friend, and the paint is faded now.
Now my wife and I just bought a '71 LeMans Sport Conv. that is all stock, with orig. paint and minor rust spots - really in pretty good shape.
I'm looking for a good, trustworthy place to start the restoration with body and paint work. It can stay in the shop for awhile during winter, and I'm not looking to break the bank.
I am a professional auto tech. in Seattle, and am a stickler for detail - could even help someone out with mech. repairs and tuning.
I hope I'm in the right section, and appreciate your patience while I get used to the forums...
Thanks,
Todd

I just had some wheel well and fender lip work done by a guy in lynnwood named Sean at SRT customs. Does great work and only charges $30hr plus material. He's done custom show winning cars to simple resto's. My names Joel, tell him I sent you and he'll treat you good. My chevelles going back into him this winter to get a full paint job and roll bar installed. His numbers 206-406-2916
