We are at home for a rare weekend away from the Ocean Shores construction project. I had sure hoped to be farther along at this point but definately by next spring we will have some kicking around time and would like to see a run to the beach for some refreshments and eats!
In a couple weeks we will be finally installing the sheet rock. The outside is finally completed, well besides landscaping and the driveway.

Scott - the place looks great.
Nice touch under the eves with the cedar and can lights.
You will definately need to host a garage warming party when the time is right.
Hope you guys can make it up for the holiday party.
Should be a fun weekend.
Take care if we don't see you.

Thanks Mike! We would like to make it to the Party again this year but I goofed off last week. We will probably have to pass this year unless the weather keeps us in the neighborhood.
Scott (I have some party plans to prepare for)

Weekends are still keeping us busy at the beach. My family has been bugging me to post some new photo's of the vacation home. I updated the photobucket site and thought I would share it here also.

We have gotten the power and gas services connected. The radiant floor heat is up and running, Oh and I LOVE it! We finished hanging sheetrock. Had a crew in to tape, mud, primer and texture. They finished a couple of weeks ago. Last week we started painting ceilings. We will be working on trim items soon! It has been a long haul but we are glad to be finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
We may not be done (actually, I'm sure we wont be) but a gathering of friends will be in the works during the weekend of July 23-25. This is also during the annual Sun and Surf Motorcycle run. If this or another weekend sounds like it might be a possible BBQ for folks here we would like to invite the group for some burgers and oysters at the new place.
Well, I suppose if Oysters are not to your liking we could have chicken or hot dogs too.
We are open to suggestions if there is interest in a cruise to the beach. As I said we are there almost every week end. Fire away, lets see if there are any willing participants.
