Legends - how many of you are planning to attend Dyno Saturday at Carb Connection as part of our Holiday Extravaganza with Jim Wangers on Saturday December 5th and how many of you are planning on bringing a car to run on the chassis dyno?
Please chime in here so we can prepare Alex and the guys at the shop.

It would be great to get a mix of both old and new GTOs up there.
At $50 set up and pretty much unlimited pulls (no tuning) it's a deal that's tough to beat.
I'll bring the Donuts and Jim!

Hey Mike, I'm going to try to make the event with the lemans. I'm in the middle of some family stuff right now but hope to be back on track by then. I guess this is where I throw down the challenge to anybody who thinks they may have something for the OLD 64???? I'm hoping to see a good turnout at the event, I've been on a dyno before and it's a lot of fun.

Thanks to you guys who stepped up.
Looks like the weather will be nice this Saturday.

To the rest of you big motors out there - $50 unlimited dyno pulls is a hell of a deal.
Hope a few more of you step up.

Reed Racing, Guyle Rude, Mitch Bleitz, Kevin Sullivan, Mark DaCosta, Jim Bozony, Mike Szekely, Pig and Kennedy - you've been officially called out!

Firebird faithful - send us your top dogs. Bragging rights are up for grabs.

Saturday 10AM, Carb Conn in Kirkland - I'll bring the god father and the donuts!!!

Hope so. I drove her home from my shop today. All went well. I think I want to move my EGT sensor and I need to find a serial to serial cable for a better connection to my EMS. The USb data port is not reliable.

I plan on being there. I would like to do a pull with my pretty much stock truck. However if that is not in keeping with the spirit of the event maybe I'll do a spin on my really stock Pontiac.

It would be cool to see a stock '64 GTO make a pull. I always wondered how much HP/T they made.

I'm going to try to make it with the '67 Firebird. I need to change out the fuel pump first but that shouldn't take too long.

Sounds like a plan, and it gives me incentive to change oil tomarrow. Maybe a good idea after pushing a bunch of unburned gasoline though the number eight cylinder.

OK we finally got the EMS tuned and dynoed the HOTROD64. The results were 312 RWHP and 402 ft/lbs RWT. Not bad for a boat mechanic.

Way to go Mike. Alex at CarbConn is to be commended for getting that software sorted out in such short order.

If I get it going fast enough...it won't need too, lol
