King Co. Auto Auction (in FIFE) has a 69 bird. Goes on Sat 3 8 03.
Gold paint is faded. Tabs say 93. Was a donation from Seattle area is the story I got.
The trunk looks dry and solid. 350, 2b carb, Auto on floor W /console. All there and in fair shape. Poverty caps. Decent interior except for cracked dash pad. I heard it run on 3 6 03 tranny grabs in all gears. Looks plain jane stock under the hood. AC. Could be nice driver w/paint & little work.
Was going to buy this for my little brother. He is not yet worthy. The guy said he thought it would bring about $1200.or maybe $1500.
Most of the time these cars are not what people came to bid for. They are looking for newer stuff, or disposable economy vehiciles. The later it is in the day, the better the deals are.
