As all of you have probably heard, Denny Deal's facility in Woodinville is not available for this year's April Car Clinic. I am stepping into Denny's huge shoes and will be hosting this year's Car Clinic in a warehouse near Sumner. The building has plenty of power, lights, water & restrooms. Mark B. will bring down an air compressor for your air tools. There is room in the building for at least 2,000 cars, so bring all of your Pontiac friends. We need many of our skilled "Pontiac gear heads" to help some of our less mechanically inclined members (like me). Maybe the best feature of the property is the acres of flat, straight, expanses of asphalt to test tire adhesion. We will have plenty of coffee & donuts in the AM and will fire up the grill at noon for burgers and dogs. This location will perhaps attract some of our south end members who have not participated in past Clinics and hopefully our loyal north end members will make the drive to support this Club event.
Date: Saturday - April 10

Wow, too bad this is the same weekend as the Portland Swap meet. I would've liked to have made this event. Good luck, sounds like another great time to be had.

Ted:
Thanks for stepping up to that. It sounds like a great setup. You could have a full blown car show in that space, only thing missing would be sunshine (and rain).
Dang, I have to pick up a couple guys at SeaTac at 11:00 that day so I'm not going to make it.
Hey, maybe I could grab the first donut and scoot out in time....... hmmmmm. Maybe.
Hey, maybe I could bring my Super Beetle and Mark B. (or Mark D.) could show me what he was talking about with the fuel filter clamp?
Anyway, thanks!
Milt

My '72 LeMans died at last year's event due to a bad ignition module. (thanks to all those who pushed it into the warehouse and then helped get it back on the road). Unfortunately I'll miss this year's event because my wife and I are taking the 4 kids to Maui for the week. Enjoy!

Thanks again for stepping up Ted!
I will be bringing the coffee and donuts in the morning.
Ted has offered to bring his grill so burgers, dogs and beverages will be the order of the afternoon. There is water and restrooms on sight as well. Should be a great opportunity to tap some Pontiac help and make use of unlimited covered space.... plus - the weather looks sunny too!
How about chiming in so we can get a grocery head count?

I'll be there with air and a stash of tools.

I haven't missed one in years - not going to start now! supposed to be a really nice day sunny and cool - time to warm those tires up and exercise the old 65' - count me in!
Hell, I might even get a couple of things done on my car this year!

Looks like fun! I especially like the last pic. If we use the same location next year I'll have to put on some old tires and use 'em up for the crowd. Who's Camaro was that?

The Camaro belongs to Bob Weiss.
I have video of 70Judge burning the crop circles into the pavement, I need to get it converted and uploaded when I have time.

Yes - that looks like you guys had a good time - sorry I had to miss this year. Man that place is HUGE. I bet we could have had 1/8 mile races indoor or out! Thanks for the pics.

The building is almost 1/4 mile long - 1,160 feet to be exact.

The building is of simply epic proportions! Rare chance to stand in something that large before it begins filling with tennants. The GTO's weren't bad either.

Thanks again Ted for letting us use that mammoth building.
A good time was had and the burgers were great too.
I took this picture from one end of the building looking back towards the middle where the cars were parked.... The wall you see is the sheer wall in the middle of the building.... you can barely see the opposite end of the building due to the curvature of the earth!
