Roll Call - Tiger Run 2010

Who's going to be at the 20th Anniversary of Tiger Run this Memorial Day weekend 2010?

I got a henious red eye coming back from North Carolina on Thursday night/Friday morning, however my plan is to nut up; pin open the eyelids and head for Bend/Redmond, pulling out of Seattle at 6 am Friday morning.

If the weather will be as stellar as last year, we are in for a great weekend.

Nut up & pin open the eyelids = Land in Seattle, take a 2 hour nap and leave for Tger Run at 6 a.m. Friday morning.

Two cars from Yakima will be there. The 63 Tempest which won best of show two years ago and the Ass Bandit Racing/64 Tempest wagon.

The wagon just went three rounds in Pro at Renegade Raceway this Sun., 4/18/10. Lost in the third round by 7/1000ths of a second. It will be ready to run the 1/8th mile at Madras.

The 63 Tempest may be powered with a IA 2 541 ci motor from SD Performance. The deal is in the works.

Don - here is the deal - my son-in-law has been deployed for six months to the desert and to the far east and the tentative return date is that weekend. He is a pilot and they make a big do when they return home after deployment with flyovers, low fast passes over their home field and a big welcome home by the families. I may have to choose that over GTO's. Priorities, you know?!

The date may well change and we'll see how it goes.

OK So here's the deal, my LeMans is down in Sisters having some warranty work completed and won't be home in time for the Colby Show... Sooo, I have rustled up just enough cashola for the show and the gas money to get home If... If I can find a kind hearted sole willing to share their lodging at the Eaglecrest. I mean a bed, a patch of carpet for my sleeping bag... don't really care at this point. I simply need to get away from town for a week or so... would be very great to do it the oldschool way we used to 10 yrs ago at TR with rooms packed to the gils with friends...
If someone can help, please get a hold of me tonight...

OK, so I now have a flop, yea! I have also inquired as to the current condition of the car... It WILL be done tomorrow by 10am! Another big YEA!
So I'm down to just needing a ride into Sisters to fetch my car. I have a couple medium sized boxes of parts that need to go back on the car, a very small tool/detail box, and an overnight bag.
So if I can pursuade anyone that intends on buggin' out Thursday morning for a ride, preferably, I'd shout fer joy!
