its that bbq time of year again

Hey all its Joel from the firebird club. Trying to figure out dates for my yearly bbq and burnouts. This year the owner of marysville speed and custom was nice enough to offer his facilities for the meet. He also is willing to do cheap dyno pulls and award trophies for the highest and lowest pulls of the day as long as we can get at least 12 people to commit to it. He has also said he will provide $100 worth of food. I'm thinking begining to mid july but am open to whatever dates get the most people to make it. I will also be inviting the camaro club, ford club, and mopar club.

the legends has a picnic on the 10 of July so don't use that date. I wanna make the BBQ and hopefully don't leave my 4 speed behind this time, lol. Mike

Ha ha, but its so much fun when a tranny feels like its gonna drop out of your car. Its lookin like the 17th is gonna be the best date, is there anymore input from anyone else. We'll also be cruising to clearview after the bbq around 4pm.

The 17th is probably as good a day as any. BBQ and burnouts sounds like fun to me.

Most of these club member shall we say 'don't communicate well' via the forum here. When we have had events in the past posted; more showed up than ever even replied to the post. I know that sucks for planning purposes. If its like last year it will be a great time had by all.

Will be better than last time. Working on getting a possible sponsor for the burnouts this year, hopefully it all comes together.

Hey everyone just trying to get an idea of everyone interested in doing the dyno pulls. We need to get at least 12 at $60 each to get the deal or we can rent for the whole day and make as many pulls as we want if we can get $1200 together total. Thanks

turn left at first light(smokey point blvd)
shop is on the left about a mile up the road.
Bbq is from 10am -4pm followed by the cruise to clearview at 4pm

Nice Job Joel! All the legends missed another great event. I was surprised how well my white car did in the burnouts.
