I know most in any Pontiac crowd appreciate more than just one model, and I'm sure many of you have quite a few friends that are into the First Gen Firebird as well, so I thought I'd pass along some interesting information on a National First Generation Firebird Rally being held this August. The first of it's kind, all 1st gens from all over the country will be in attendance. It was organized to be held pretty close to the center of the country in Estes Park Colorado for the backdrop. It will be a full week-end filled with events for the whole family.
I plan on going and there are quite a few from the NW who are all planning on doing caravan down starting in Vancouver B.C., on down to Seattle, onto Portland, Then Idaho and Utah and onto CO picking up more and more first gens along the way.
A National Event unlike any other. Finally a chance to meet many you have know online over the years from all over the country, face to face and getting a chance to see their cars too! I know of people coming from NY, FL, TN, TX, MN, CA, UT, CO, NM, OK, MI, OR, WA etc as well as Canada. Even some flying in from out of the country just to attend as a spectator.
Just thought I'd put the info out there! Feel free to pass it along to anyone who may be interested!
