That was a fantastic weekend & the rain held out for both the Saturday car show & the Sunday drags.
We stayed an extra day and so I decided to take my GTO for a backroads cruise on Monday while the streets were dry.
My relaxation came to an abrubt halt as a Oregon State Trooper in an unmarked Charger decided to follow my a$$ all the way from Bend into Redmond.

Look at the pictures of Kennedy's launches - I do believe I see some air under those front tires!
Note the fully erect upright body composure with the hands placed on the wheel in a 10 & 2 position. - What a model drag racer...
The grand champion of the day lifts the nose of the trusty 65!
