Kinda late and quick notice to get one before the nationals, but I thought I'd try. I would like to get an original carb for the '67 HO. Quadrajet Carb number 7027263 for a manual transmission car.
I have a nice carb built for the engine but it's a built up Buick carb without a choke, thanks Ruggles :-\ but I've decided to go original and hope it works as well as the intended carb I had rebuilt by Ruggles.
I also have a carb for the firebird guys.... it's a '68 RA for automatic Quadrajet 7028276 in nice original unrestored condition. Ruggles wouldn't rebuild this carb for my GTO because of it's value to the FB people. But, it's not doing me any good just sitting in my garage. I may be willing to trade for the right carb for my car, one or the other.. if not, then... looks like my GTO will be sporting a FB RAI carb to the nationals. I'm guessing someone out there would give their left n.. or at last a nice ready to bolt on '67 carb.. to have this RA carb. whatcha say?
