Two weeks ago a fellow car guy had his shop, 19 cars, a tractor, a couple of boats, and virtually everything destroyed outside of his house. He was having breakfast with his wife, looked out the window and saw heavy smoke rolling by. He ran outside and a wall of flame was approaching approximately 30 mph accoprding to the Fire Dept. It covered his entire property from the East to the West. Approximately 400'. The fire had been started by a renter who lived approx 3/4 mile straight South of him. It burned through three properties before it hit his place. He was able to salvage a few cars. However, he lost three rods which were ready to hit the road in the next week. I took 250 digital shots of the carnage for his use in the upcoming Insurance settlement. What a deal thats going to be, $300,000 min loss. What a sorry site to see windshields molded to dashboards, car bodies buckled, billet wheels deformed, no tires, new motors.trannys burnt.
