i was recently contacted through another web forum I belong to about a '71 Firebird project car located in Bend, OR. I'm unable to take on any projects at this time but told the guy I'd pass his e-mail address around to the Pontiac communities in the area.
I don't know anything more about this person or this car than what I've said above and what is in the text of the private message he sent me today, which is copied below:

This is how it looks now, It still has some small body work to be done and when it is took apart to be painted it will get a new full body dress up kit put on it and that's all the rubber, seals and dress up all the way around. Engine bay is black but when the car is painted it will be proper doors will be jammed etc. I will try to find more specific pics, my camera was recently stolen that had all my pics on it. Interior is all original and in working condition but not perfect back seat has a few splits in the top from the sun and there is a few cracks in the dash. Every part of the drive train has been rebuilt with better and I have all the paper work for every thing. If the right buyer is found I can ship as is and they can finish it the way they want to, or can tell me the color and anything else they want done while it is in the body shop. To tell you the truth I really dont want to sell it as I have owned it since I was 14 (2002) and have done so much work to it but life and family takes over I guess. I have close to $15k into it once the body work is done but I know with the interior not being perfect I can only get so much for it. If interested let me know and I would be glade to provide any info you would like.
