Blame the economy (I do). But, I hope my pain is your gain ...

After 11 years of ownership, lots of love and detailed work with the Goatherd guys (and gals), our '66 is going on the auction block this Saturday in Portland.

My hope is that someone who truly knows and appreciates it will become the new owner and continue keeping this vehicle alive and well as we intended.

We purchased this 2-door HT in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Since then, we tore out all the bad ideas and replaced nearly everything we could with correct OEM and repro parts where visible and performance parts where they matter. Complete rebuilt 389 with performance parts plus custom Butler pistons. New Turbo 400 3-speed trans. Original Carter carb. Complete dash re-do with period correct Ames "wood" steering wheel, 1966 Pontiac AM radio and period-correct aftermarket tach. Rally II wheels (yeah, we didn't quite get that change done ...). So many other little details. Less than 700 miles since engine/trans work. Starts on first crank, runs great.

Auction starts at 9am on Saturday, February 11, 2012 here:
