This car has a good running 400 w/96 heads, a tilt (floor shift) column and bucket seats. It also has disc brakes and ralley II wheels. The interior panels are okay as is the back seat, but I believe that stuff is unique to a Grand Prix only. 253-862-6864 after 4:00 p.m., if anyone is interested.

What colour / material is the interior?

It is BLACK, vinyl. The buckets need recovering but the back seats look to be usable. The door panels aren't cracked and the back panels appear to be good also. The car was FULL of garbage, so I'm sure it will require some clean up. The dash has been cut for a stereo, so that would need repair to mount a stock radio.

Hey Stef, any chance of digging those springs out of the shack, and bringing them to the swap meet for me?

Well, if my memory doesn't fail me, they will be there! :P

I'm looking for a lower valance for a '69 LeMans. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Cell Phone 425-238-4693.

Hi Shack:

D'you have the accelerator pedal rod? This'll sound funny but mine broke. I welded it back together but I didn't get the angle just right and I'm sick of trying to get the angle just right through trial and error.

All of the pedal parts are still complete, so it should be there. I'll get in touch with you and get the specifics. Everytime I get around to calling you, it's usually 9:00 p.m. or later. I'll try Friday to get a call up to you.

Hey Stef,
Just figured I'd let you know the damn motor is a runner.
... now I HAVE to drive it.

I definitely think there's a dead lifter on the left side and I'm pretty sure the float is sunk too. But hey, no big deal... I'v egot some lifters sitting on teh bench and fo rhte gas, well... with gas this cheap who needs to worry about gas mileage?
Plus, I love scaring those damn white-collar bastards I work with in the parking garage.
Just three or four good pumps of the gas pedal and a turn of the key sends 'em diving to the floor with visions of terrorist attacks.

"I love the sound of car alarms in the parking garage in the morning... sounds like... victory."

Hey, right on brother! I expect to see it at one of the club meetings in the near future, right? I'm glad it's working out for you. Let's see, how's that go now, DON'T QUIT YOUR DAY JOB! Later. ;D

Hey Jonny-Pot-Pie, I nearly died laughing reading that. Those MSF workers or more like Techies, might think your a terrorist working among them. Glad you got it running. Isn't thrashing a car together in a weekend fun? Remember loud pipes save lives..... ;D

Bring it on Johhny-Cat!
Hey bruh, bring that wicked Cat to the next Legends meeting!
I can't wait to see that post coupe finally serving some street duty!
I remember taking a gander at those aluminum racing seats you put in it, with zero padding......Probably gives you the same feeling of sitting on the throne too long with the Sunday paper! ;)
Right on, we miss ya man!

Damn 'softies' are pretty funny when they see it in the garage.
The first day that I brought it to work I was futzing around under the hood checking fluids and when I got to the tranny fluid I had to start it, so I get in it, start it up, and some guy drives by asking if he should call security so they could arrange a tow truck. :)

So, being the considerate person that I am, always one to make friends, I put my hand to my ear, hit the throttle half a dozen times and motioned that I couldn't hear what he was saying. Then I shut it down, and when he repeated I said, "no, but you may want to call them about all those car alarms."

For some reason he didn't seem ammused.

But on that note, I've been working with one of my buddies at work to figure out just how many car alarms I can set off at once. I'm pretty sure there's no better parking garage in the state to try to set the record. The rule is I have to start it up on one of the lower levels and I'm only allowed to drive around on that level. It's been a little difficult to get an accurate count cuz' not all of 'em make the headlights blink, but we think the current record stands at 22 simultaneous alarms. I'm sure you can imagine how proud I am of that fine Cat.

In fact, it's become a normal part of my morning routine when I arrive, all the janitors who are on their smoke break walk down to the first floor of hte gargage when they hear me coming just to watch to whole ordeal.

Thank god for 3" exhaust.

Yeah, those seats are still there...
... in fact, one co-worker deemed it the 'purring poncho hemorrhoid hurter'.
However flattering that is I don't think the name is gonna stick. Although the parallels to 'pain in the ass' are almost too much to pass up. There must be a good joke there somewhere (and a license plate to match).

Anyway folks, you'll see it at a meeting soon enough.
Or maybe on the road before then...
... in case you're not sure, I'm the Blue 2dr post pushing Hondas out of the fast lane.

Till then,
Jonny-pot-pie

Hey, here's an idea. What if we were to get a few of us together and go visit the parking garage. We could each take a floor and see if we could set some sort of world record alarm set off. ;D I for one would surely be there. Good day for now. :P

What shall we call this fine occasion.........The Softie-Run? If we stategically place a car or two on every floor and simultaneously LITE'M-UP we should own the record . We need to figure out the time when it would be most effective. I say get 'em just before lunch break.

Guys! Gotta wait till I get the LeMans going. Since I'm also a 'softie, I gotta be involved in this!!! ;D

Wish I lived down there just so I could participate.

One of the best characteristics of my GP is the fact that it sets off the occasional car alarm when I just idle by. ;D
