Ok,
Here's a chance for someone to get their car back on the road if they recently blew their engine doing something stupid. :P I just acquired a complete running and driving 4 door '69 Tempest that was hit hard in the rearend. The engine is a 350 2 barrel with 97K orrigional miles on it. It runs very well, doesn't smoke or burn oil. It has an HEI distributor. $350 complete - hear it run, take it for a drive. The front bumper is in excellent shape - must have been rechromed a few years ago $125. Rust free almost perfect passenger side fender - $150. Tranny - 2 spd. $50. Good rearend - hiway gears, no posi. $150. Stock AM radio ?? Make offer for other parts. Call Don at 425-337-5230.

Stefan,
The radiator core support is in awesome shape. I don't have a picture of it but it's clean and rust free. The inner fenders are clean and rust free as well. Here's a picture of the passenger side fender.

Hi Pete,
I have the inner fender (completely rust free) $40. The driver's side fender is in pretty bad shape. The battery tray is usable. I just pulled the stock radio and put it in my '69 Firebird. I live in the Everett area. Let me know if you are interested in any other parts. I will start pulling the sheetmetal off this car as soon as the engine is sold.

Don, shopping list time?
Need the following items for sure:
-Good black dash c/w inserts no instruments (not a/c)
-windshield (tinted)
-wiring harnesses in-dash and engine (may go for new)
I'm trying to save my parts car. I have eveything I need but the car is too good to strip down :-/ here's my project...

Well,
This car has a perfect dash, no cracks, but it's cream colored not black. You pull!
You can look at the wiring harness. The wiring harness in the trunk is perfect, this car must have been garaged most of its life. The windshield is no good. Good gas tank.
The trim around the windshield is very clean.

Looks like you have your hands full with your projects. 428 tri-power, now that's kewel!

Don
Seems like I'll be comming to see you with a tool kit in my hands. I'd probably dye the dash and put it in the lemans while the goat gets the good black one. I don't mind pulling it then the mistakes are mine. let me know how much for the dash including glove box insert. K? my direct email is pvangaalen@shaw.ca (I'm in Coquitlam, BC)

Peter,
Nice doing business with you. :D

I still have the complete running 350 engine for sale, $350. If any on the list wants to hear it run it's still in the car.
Thanks,

Sorry for the delay Peter, I'm swamped right now with work. Yes the handles are the same. I'll see if I can't pull them this weekend and then we'll get together soon and get them to you. Are you coming down to the Monroe swap meet this weekend? It's at the Everegreen Fairgrounds in Monroe, WA. You might find some good parts for your cars there.
See ya,

Sounds good Don, I will be heading North this weekend to winterize the cabin, build a deck, fish, and hurt myself dirt biking... no time for Monroe unfortunately. Thanks for holding the pistons for me, Megan was v. helpful. We'll get together soon - thanks again.

Peter,
I pulled the inner door handles for you just before Stephan came and picked up the car. He wanted it for the engine and radiator core support.
Stephan helped me yank the right front fender as well. That will be going on my GTO when I restore the car.
See you next time around.

Sounds good to me - That Sefan is a good guy, I hope he made you a good deal. I've found a 68 Tempest 2dr that I may buy for the balance of the parts I need. but I'll definitely take the handles sometime soon. Do you know if the upper door/window seals (windlace) is the same for 68 &69?
