Our gracious Web guru Lonnie is on the lookout for a quality '65 GTO Hardtop. No clones here, boys... just the real deal. Numbers matching preferred. No vinyl tops either. Color doesn't matter. Not a show stopper. want to keep the $$$ on the low side but we're looking for a nice driver. This club owes him this much. Would like to find something by the end of this summer.

What's the "low" side? Under 10K? Under 20K? Somewhere in the middle? I'll keep an eye out. If I can find my brother a car, I can find anyone a car!! ;)

Realisticly the price range would be between $7500 (fixer upper - but not a basket case with a ton of rot) and $15K (pretty nice car, but not immaculate).
Also - I've recently become more and more attracted to the 68's and 69's - so it's kind of a toss up between those years and the my first love of the '65.
Thanks for all the heads up that I've received! You guys kick some poncho a$$ !! ;D
Mike, you just had to show your "east of the mountains pride"...you just had to.......well, this old DAWG won't dis you too much.
