Hello All,
I just found this web site. From everything I read, it seems like you have a great club. If I lived in the area I would certainly join up!
I am looking to buy a 1969 GTO Judge Convertible. It must be a 4-speed car and I would prefer one that is carousel red but other colors would be considered. I would be interested in one in any condition, even a basket case project, with a driver being ideal, as long as it is a real Judge. A finders fee is available.
I had one of these cars about 17 years ago (stupid me didn't keep it!) and for the last year or two I have been looking for another one. I have also been searching for my original car but without much success. The guy that had it after me sold it to someone in Arizona and then that owner moved north to either California or Nevada with it. Where it might be now is unknown to me. I am very interested in finding out what has happened to the car since I had it. If possible, I would like to try to find the current owner of it.
If anyone can help me locate it I would greatly appreciate it. The car would have come from Pennsylvania about 16 years ago and was a 1969 carousel red/black/black 4-speed RAIII Judge convertible with a hoodtach and few other options. It was at best a #3 driver but when I had it the original drivetrain was in the car (it ran quite well) and it had about 48K original miles on it. Before it went to Arizona it was patched up and looked quite good but there was a lot of bondo in it. I still have the Pontiac supplied (pre-PHS) build sheet from the car so I can identify it by the VIN number if it can be located.
Thanks for reading this!
