I picked uup a 66 GTO over the winter (Red Ride #2) and have been trying to get it on the street. One small problem after another. We have all faced it. When I decided the car would not make T/R, I thought I'd fix a couple of other things. One is the Core support on the driver side. It is almost corroded/rusted through. Does anyone have a good one? Does any one have a bad one that I can cut a patch out of? I need the support side that sits on the grommet and at least an inch or two either way. More is better, easier to hide the splice. Thanks, Red Rider. (Red Ride #1 for Tiger Run!)

I've got a complete support from a '66 that is in good shape. I've also got a partial one but I think it is the drivers side that is missing on that one too. I can take a look for you after I get back from Bend. Where are you located?

I'm in Auburn, 253-939-8673 evenings, ask for Tim. I'd be interested at looking at both, one short term, one long term. Thanks for the reply. I'll be at T/R, Red Ride #1 is a 64 Tempest Custom. Red of course, white top, 428, tri-power, T400. It'll be with me and the wife, maybe the kids, at the fair grounds. With all of those Pontiacs, they should call them the "Great Grounds." Look forward to talking to you. TIM
