Does anyone have a good running engine to fit in my 66? I have developed a horrid top end knock and will be yanking the sprint engine for future consideration.

I am open to just about any option. I would like to be able to bolt up to the Powerglide but I will yank that too if the need dictates.

I wont be doing a nit-picky restro of this vehicle so to deviate from the sprint wont be too offensive to me. Replacement (good running) sprint engine and V-8 are both options I would consider.

Ideas anyone? Engines anyone?

Check with GTO AL... He indicated that he had a good running YS that would make that baby move out. I believe it is a 67 mill however...

My "YS" needs a full rebuild not sure it's available just yet. But I do have a decent running "YC" engine that I ran in the black convert last year. It's a '67 400 block with '72 low hp heads but runs and get's great gas milage to boot. It's currently hooked up to a two speed powerlide anyway so there wouldn't be any problem with the switch over. The tranny now belongs to Gary M so it would have to come off but I could leave the smaller flex plate / flywheel what ever you call it on the engine and it shouild bolt right up to your tranny.

Let me know.

I may be getting a 75 GP w/455 that runs good (I'm told). I would be willing to sell it if your interested. The car is scrap, but it has some parts of interest to me, so the engine could be yours.

Don Crenshaw has a smooth running 350 2bbl. in the tempest that he's parting out. he told me 500$ takes it. low miles and I've heard it run - no problems. he's on the parts for sale forum.

Hey,
My last post did not make it. This is a test.
I'm asking $350 for the complete running '69 350 engine.
Thanks,
