glove box lock [Archive]

can someone out there explain to me how I can take a lock off a glove box.!? application is a 1969 Tempest. and yes, I did think of hacksaw but thought I'd check alternatives first.

You need a special tool. The easiest thing to do is take off the door and take it to a locksmith or key making place. They will have the right tool to remove the lock, and while you're there you can get some keys made :D

OK I got it with a poultry skewer! now if I can only get that #%&*@! spring back in the latch! Thanks
