View Full Version : Freeze Plug Question
I have very very slow oil leak from a freeze plug on my 400. :(What’s the best course of action??
Any tips, clues, advice? Can this be repaired with the engine still in the car?

Bruce,
you can call Blake & ask him, he has a way of popping them in & out with the greatest of ease. Don't forget to tell him "who ya are, a fine upstanding member of the NW Legends" ;)

Oil leak. Is it one of the plugs at the back of the block leaking into the bellhousing? The cam plug? Or one of the two front plugs under the timing chain cover? I'm sure you could take out the tranny and bellhousing to get access, but it would be hard to fix with the limited space. I have an extra set of freeze plugs so if you need any let me know.
Howdy JB,
Looks like it's passenger side, back of block. :(
Any clue on a good way to tackle this? I know it's a tuffy and space is tight there
