Hi ,I got a Question I was hoping you could answere .I have a 1970 gto with a 400 and a muncie 4 spd out of a 67 gto so I was told when I purchased the car 3 months ago .I recently broke my clutch fork and and replayced it with a new one .To make a long story short I am wondering if this is the right throughout bearing at all ? Do you know anyone how might know the answere ? Thanks does any one know the corect numbers of what it should be ?

Why do you suspect that you are using the wrong Throwout Bearing?
I don't know but a parts counter guy with a Federal Mogul catalog could help you right away.
So you are saying that when you order up clutch stuff you say 1967? I would say 1970.
I would think that the bellhousing & clutch fork are correct 1970 in your GTO & assume that the 1967 Muncie shaft slipped right in through the 1970 year Throwout Bearing & into the back of the Crank & Pilot Bearing, it should be the same stuff, but remember, I am assuming this, not knowing your GTO.
Now, that said, quit running around Speed Shifting. ;D
