I want to put some new springs and shocks on my 65 Goat. My question is, what is the big difference between the shocks for cars with a/c and those without? Are they stiffer, softer, taller, shorter...what?

Why am I installing new springs? Because I think I'm suffering from the dreaded "spring sag", and I think it will give the goat a little lift.

How about the shocks.....since I'm not really a track racer, I probably don't need but the AC/Delco replacement gas shocks. What do you guy's think?

Opps, I forgot to say this is for the front......I've already replaced the rear springs.

I don't think there is a difference other than the stiffness. Go with some KYB shocks and paint them gray like the original ones.
