My buddy just picked up a 67 firebird 400 :)
We've scoped out info about donor cars for a changeover to front discs, keeping as much original suspension in place to keep cost down. We have heard that S-10 brakes may work.
He wants to keep original spindles. Any advice ?

Check with Blake... He was telling me about an A-body four wheel disk conversion that uses mostly GM parts. He could probably steer you in the right direction for F-body as well.

;D I'm running one of the kits that Blake has put together for early A-bodies. These disc brakes pull my heavy 64 Tempest wagon down from 109/110 mph passes. Haven't had a problem, they work great. I run big drums on the rear with a 12 bolt.

Hey Bruce, I have a complete 75 T/A disc brake set up. I would be willing to part with this for a small price. Let me know if this is something your buddy would be interested in.
