Hi:

I've been away from performance cars for a long time and am getting back into it. *I'm considering having Dave Bisschop at SD Performance do some work for me. *

I take it that some people have used Dave's shop and would recommend him. *After all, I saw the pics and captions on this site from a tour of his shop.

However, anyone wanting to give him a "live" recommendation?

***********

Thanks for all the replies! *While I don't have the budet to have my engine done, I am having Dave put together a head, manifold, cam combo. *Maybe next year I'll be able to afford the bottom end.

I don't think you will find a better source for pontiac performance in the world! There, how was that for a live shout out. After talking to Dave, and seeing how his product performs, I knew exactly where to take my ramair IV engine. Not only is he a great head porter and engine builder, but he also is a great source for finding out what it is you need for your application. I'm sure you will find more people willing to give the same response. Good luck. * * * * *Gee, I wonder if this will net me a discount on the next engine build. ;D

Hello !

As so mildly stated bt STEFAN, Dave will give you the power and performance your looking for. Dave has built engines for the club PREZ. Bob B. #1 A "street racer" #2 the "race car".
I have been lucky enough to drive Bobs "street racer" 66 GTO I was extreemly shocked by the power of the stroked 428'.
525 HP *on pump gas no less. You can check out Bobs "race car" (THE GOLDEN TIGER) on this site. I have been reading back issues of PONTIAC ENTHUSIAST magazine (from 97 on) and they have spoke very highly (and very often)of Dave and his work. Including feature articles on engines he has built!!
So you cannot go wrong using SD Perfomance...
Good luck * ..

Dave Bischopp's SD Performance is a terrific resource for all of us in The Northwest Legends. *Dave is only a couple of hours drive from Seattle. *He is honest, knowledgeable and will give you a straight deal and a quality job backed up by a warranty that is as good as Dave's word. *I have had 2 motors built by Dave and wouldn't think of going anywhere else for quality Pontiac engine work. *If you want a great job at a fair price, see Dave.

Dave is a hell of a guy! Truly a great human being, and he definitely knows his stuff. He and his brother and Bob came to my rescue last summer when a ball joint broke on my '70 in Canada...talk about a SAR effort! Definitely above and beyond. Dave will get all my engine business in the future. Damn good guy.
