On my 67 I am changing from a 4sp. to a turbo 400 and I need to know the location of my tranny crossmember their is a bunch of holes along the frame for different applications! :-/

Thanks! :)

Come look at my HO convert, someone made the change there and you can see exactly the differences. The car was a 4spd and converted to auto and now going back to 4spd. The frame is able to take either right now. come see and take measurements.

all the holes are already pre-drilled in the frame I just need to know which ones to fasten them to! :)

Install the trans and crossmember. Fit the support brackets above drilled holes and bolt down, thats what I did. Takes the guessing out of where to drill the holes.

I supose they would be predrilled on a HT frame. Not that easy on a convert box frame. I'd have to agree with ReedRacing and lift the tranny in place on the engine lifted a little higher than normal using a jack, install your crossmember onto the tranny with the frame mounts onto the ends, lower into place and bolt up. With the tranny bolted onto the engine and the engine in place on the motor mounts then everything should aline up. You're still welcome to come take a look though.
