Rear Axle Seals

Ok, I thought I was ready for Bend.. Now I have fluid coming out of the right rear drum. I checked to see if it was brake fluid, the cylinder is dry and clean. Its coming out of my axle. So I need seals replaced. (Not to mention my oil soaked pads and drum.) Is this something that can be done by me or is this best left to a shop? Are there certain tools I need to do this? If someone has had this completed by a shop how much did you pay? I'd like to try this myself.. But if I screw something up I dont want to walk home from Bend! ;D
