I've been talking with the seller, Al. He's brought this car along way and says he's put over $10K into it with bodywork and parts. I spent some time on the phone with him this PM and he says the engine code is "YR" and is dated D 24 6 (Apr 24th 1966) which checks out to be a tri-power engine for an automatic. He also said that the car could have been originally an automatic converted to a M21 4spd.
Sounds like this car could be a great starter car for someone. Sounds like most the hard stuff is done as far as bodywork.
