1968 GTO hardtop project
Complete survivor car in barn since the 80's.
Mostly solid but in dire need of someone who has the time & desire to do a complete restoration.
This GTO is all original for what I can see.
Stats:
Solar Red
Black interior
400/turbo 400
Endura nose w/ fixed lights.
This GTO has a column shift & firebird buckets, I suspect it may have come new with a bench seat.
This GTO was dropped off at a wrecking yard within 15 miles of our meeting place, the owner lost his storage.
I know the wrecking yards guys & they came to me to find this GTO a good home, the good news is they want $1000 for it, the bad news is at some point in time the GTO served as a rodent den, the inside smells like a urinal at truck stop.
But look beyond the scent, it is a solid unrestored survivor GTO that is numbers matching for only a grand...........My finder's fee is the wood wheel on the car, it goes to me. :wink:
