Lonnie, Wanna '66? :P It's what the legends were made of.

I've decided to hold out for a '65 or '70, with a slight preference towards the '70. Driving the "Powered by THOR" charriot has made me a believer! First love will always be the '65 though, but I'd cheat on her with the right '70
Another super cool piece of artwork for the pic of the week
Imagine a garage or shop done up like that, now that would be really cool
Now Lonnie, I can understand your love of the 65 (duh, who wouldn't), but you get what you want....even if it's one of those big, bad, powerful and fast 70's.

:D Cool Lonnie,
Now that Arnold has a second career, I guess I can help out.
Love how you tossed the gun in for effect.

Cool terminator theme. Another good on Lonnie!!
This brings up another point: As far as a Pro-street 65 goes, Brad's ride is superior in every way to that chevy-powered car featured in the national mag!!

:) I knew back at the Musclecar Meet that I was going to do a Terminator theme for Brad. It was those shades that gave it away. 8)
Wouldn't it be cool if instead of the predictable Harley, Arnold jumped into a GTO, did a smoke show, then went on to terminate a bunch of foreign 4-bangers?
Speakin' of GTO's in movies, I saw Charlie's Angels Full Throttle last night (don't ask). It starred a beautiful '67 Gold w/ Black vinyl top GTO. It was in a few scenes, and for more than just a few seconds. In one scene the characters even talked about. It was the Mother Superior who walked out and identified it. Pretty cool - made the movie. The girls in tight leather wasn't too hard on the eyes either
This is very cool. Hmmm, my mind's churning again...I wonder if there's a Mad Max motif on the horizon for an upcoming pic o' the week. Let's see, Max wore leathers also but I forget what his weapon was....ahhhh, it was a sawed off 12 gauge. Those shells were in short supply....Hahaha
Nice work Lonnie....AGAIN !!

Lonnie, thanks again for a superb pic of the week! Also, big thanks for listing some of the info about the Dec. party and nominations. I will post some info in the next newsletter about this, and encourage all to attend and cast their votes. Thanks for all the volunteers that accepted nominations too. It takes alot of special people to keep the club cruising along, and fun!!!

Cool pic, but whazz up with the Larry Diablo theme?
Is Larry "Runnin with the Devil"?

Ya I don't get it either. I can't picture Larry cruising the 69 with Van Halen cranked up with Running with the Devil, with shades on, but who knows. Looks cool how you did the pics of the week, Lonnie.

 I gotta admit, they don't come any more far-fetched than that. :?
Just tryin' to make sure everyone gets a shot. This one's turnin' out to be more of a contradiction than anything else. Heheh oh well.
Brad, you're right, I've been thinking the same thing, it's been quiet here, too quiet. I may have to go to the bookstore to get the new issue of car craft and then hit the Elysian brewery up the street :?

Lonnie,
awesome pic o da week on the Denny "The Real Deal" 65 GTO.
That Blue Angel theme creation is once again suitable for framing!

12-08-2003, 01:05 PM
Denny had his first real pilot experience earlier this year in an acrobatic plane. He absolutely loved it. He said it felt totally natural and he can't wait to do it again. That made the "Blue Angel" theme an easy sell ;)

He had to pull off the side of the track to go pee. The photo did not capture a Honey Bucket on the far right of the lot.
