If I CANT find one, do you guys know of what would work in its place?
Im thinking a wire with a loop on the end duct taped to the fire wall so I can pull it with my right hand? Would make it real hard to shift, steer, drink a beer, and wave at the hotties at the same time..

Lokar makes a nice unit. I used on my '65 GTO, as well as on the Challenger. It is an adjustable cable so if you want the stock look you can do what I did with the Challenger:
I used the stock black outer and fed the new adjustable cable through, so it looks stock. You should be able to get through an auto parts place or try Hot Rod Enterprises in Auburn. Dan Petersen owns the place and can help.

Thanks for the help, I'll be buying a Lokar set up ASAP. That will get me back on the road... I cant use the orig housing cause its broken where it goes thru the fire wall.. Thats what caused the cable strands to break.
If you guys see a 66 throttle cable let me know. I would still like to have an original.
Thanks again!

Okay, I'll be honest here now. I've got 1, and as long as I have only one, I'll have to hang on to it considering 2 of my cars use this cable. :? Now you may try Shleprock, he probably has them stacked up like cord wood. I've seen the cable Brad is talking about and it's a real nice setup. I'll probably put one on the RATROD here real soon and then I'll have 2 extras. One for you, one for me.
