Installing Hood tach - 68

My nice wife bought me a hood tach from Ames for X-Mas to replace my burned out aftermarket one hose-clamped to the steering column. Is there cutting involved in install? It is currently back-ordered; was just curious. Thnx J

Well, that depends. Do you have a hole in your hood now? If not, you will need to make one to install a hood mounted tachometer. It should come with a template and all the directions.
