I came across this ad in the Tacoma News Tribune this morning:

Pontiac 1965 GTO convertible, 389 4spd. Maroon with White top, Pt Trade Considered, $19K OBO 253-861-3118

I called the number and the guy says the car's in pretty nice condition. Has non-numbers '66 389 in it with a 4bbl and a M20 4spd, average to good paint, flow masters, American Racing centerline type wheels, shifting linkage needs adjusting (after he replaced the clutch it started hitting the console), has a rattle in the exhaust (rear hanger), and could use a new heater core.

I'm probably going to go out and see the car tomorrow, not to buy but to see what it's like and get photo's of it for the site in case anyone is interested. He's in Puyallup.

Anyone seen this car? Want to comment on it?

He's also saying that he's going to be selling his '68/9 LeMans convertible later as well.

I just talked with Randy (the seller) and he's also going to be selling his 1968 LeMans convertible. He says its: "has a 350, 4spd, 3.90 rear, RA III cam, viper Red with black interior and top, GTO hood, new tires on centerline style wheels. Sounds like a nice car too. I'll be going to see the cars (I haven't made it there yet) this week, will get some pictures.
