I talked to Alex at Carb-Connection and he gave me some details on that he would require a mnimum of 5 vehicles to get the club (group) dyno rate. I'm sure we could round up more than 5. He suggested that the club make it a party atmosphere....bring some tables, food, drinks, etc.

The club rate (if at least 5 have the dyno) is $75.00 per vehicle.
This will be a baseline test that will measure:

-Airflow
-Horsepower
-Torque

If you were to run this test at Carb-Connection without the group rate, the fee would be $149.00.

Checkout their web site: www.rpmtuner.com

If there is enough interest we will need to select a date and check with Alex at Carb-Connection to see if it is available.

I'm not sure that I'll be at Saturday's meeting, so if one of you fine folk would make an annoucement about this possible event I would appreciate it.

Excellent Rick, we will get a tally at the meeting this weekend. Sounds like a great deal.

This is perfect Rick.
Club event for sure!
If you don't make the meeting, we'll cover it with the club. 8)

Hey, for the purposes of the tally at the meeting this weekend, count me in. I'm assuming it will not happen some time in the next four weeks though.

Count me in! I wont be at the meeting tonight.

If IM not off I'll just call in sick like someone else in the Legends does! cough cough...

IM not too good on tuning carbs.. Will the help be available thru them or maybe somone in the WCA to help me tune/adjust it? I have a edelbrock 600 cfm carb on a 389. I know there are different jets, springs and little tiny parts that are availble to help tune it.. But IM CLUELESS IN LACEY when it comes to that.

When are you guys planning this? I would like to see how my mid 12 sec 400 cid Firebird does.

You should check around at some other places. I know that Pro-Max is a bit less expensive for group rates, and I've heard of some others that are less expensive.

A local Wusstang club had a portable dyno at one of their event last summer. I was impressed.

Any word on this potential event? Do we need to pay something up front? If so, just let me know where to send the money.

I visited the dyno guy on Saturday (checking up on my carb rebuild) and he said to pick a date and he will see if there is any conflicts. I don't want to be the one to pick a date without some input from y'all.

Do you want to do it soon, before tiger run, after tiger run, before Rainer run....what.

Lonnie, can you create a poll on this board so we could poll the membership?

Poll is open for voting, see the next thread.
