Rainier Run's Eatonville checkpoint is a beautiful vantage point to see Mount Rainier.
Trees tend to block that view. Consequently the shade is minimal.
I am asking for someone to donate the use of thier pop-up shade/shelter so that the checkpoint volunteers can have someplace to hide from the sun for about four hours.
I know they're out there! Is someone willing to bring one to the event?
(If you're concerned about it, you could always volunteer to sit the checkpoint too... hint.. hint..) :D
