Amazing what you find in a gas tank
I replaced a fuel tank in a 64 Catalina and this is what i found in the old tank. The tank bottom was caved in so some clever wrench installed this contraption in the tank hoping to be able to scavenge fuel from the tank. He failed because the 90 degree elbow that was used was actually a tee and the cap that was on the unused branch didn't have a clamp on it and it swelled from chemical reaction.
