Another one?

So I added another one to the collection. Arrived today. 73 Trans Am 4 speed. Been in the Fresno, Ca area entire life. Still has orginal motor, but the 4 speed was stolen when the motor was rebuilt. So they put a automatic in it, not sure why. Solid and straight car. Needs a few things sorted out and will be on the hunt for parts that are missing and not correct. I felt like a badass driving it! Cannonball run anyone?

Going to keep it stock looking John. So it's going to stay Buccaneer Red. I don't remember seeing a Green Pontiac Steve McQeen car. Do you have a pic?

That TA looks like a Sweet Ride, look forward to checking it out !~

McQ was a movie shot in Seattle and the PNW in the early 70's starring John Wayne. He played a police detective.

He drove a Brewster Green 73 Firebird. Bill P posted a Youtube link to it here on the legends board a while back. It showed John Wayne in a chase that started on Beacon Hill at the old VA hospital

Crap, now you have me looking for one! I had a blue '76 455-4 speed T/A Right after Theresa and I were married. I sold it because it was slow.

That's cool! I need to watch that movie! Brewster green is a great color, but they hardly made any in that color, and are more money then a red or white car. Wouldn't it be cool to find that plate #?
