Northwest Legends Club Meeting Minutes
(August 2, 2025)
MEETING OPENED:
Meeting called to order at 6:12pm by our President, Bill Nelson at Amante Pizza and Pasta, in Kent, WA.
ATTENDANCE:
The meeting total attendance was 14.
GUESTS & NEW MEMBERS:
No guests and no new members attended this Club Meeting.
SECRETARY’S REPORT:
Bob Stevenson read the minutes from the July meeting.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
Tom Willett read the treasurer’s report. He also reported that he stopped at the Lake Stevens SummerFest and handed out around 20 flyers at their car show.
CORRESPONDENCE:
No correspondence this month.
GUEST SPEAKER OF THE MONTH:
There was no guest speaker.
OLD BUSINESS:
No old business.
NEW BUSINESS:
Wally Santella reported that we have two new sponsors, Warren Secord Automotive and High End Paint, both $250. Tom mentioned that Jim Bozony had passed away.
EVENT COMMITTEE:
Wally reported that we have 21 registrations for the Pop Keeney show. Wally and Jim will arrive at 6am to allow them to register any early arriving cars before the official 8am opening.
Ted talked about the 2026 Tigers event scheduled for The Dalles. Friday night cruise, Neon Sign Museum after the cruise. Should be a food truck and hoping to find a musician for live music. Museum tickets are $8. Getting in touch with the Mid Columbia Car Club to get names of attendees at their show in The Dalles. Saturday will be show, with banquet to follow at the hotel. Sunday will be the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum in Hood River or the alternate Sternwheeler boat brunch cruise. The 2027 Tigers on the Columbia event is tentatively at the Riverfront Hotel in Richland, Ted is working on contracts.
50/50 RAFFLE: No raffle this month.
SHOP TALK: No shop talk this month.
MEETING ADJOURNED:
The club’s business meeting was adjourned at 7:10pm by our President, Bill Nelson. The next club meeting will be on Saturday, October 4th at 6:00pm at Amante Pizza and Pasta, 21020 84th Ave South, Kent, WA. Note that there will be no September meeting, since the Firebird club picnic is on Saturday, September 6th.
