Northwest Legends Club Meeting Minutes
(December 1, 2018)

MEETING OPENED:
Meeting called to order at 5:00pm by our Club President, Ted Knapp at the 13 Coins Restaurant in SeaTac, WA.

ATTENDENCE:
December’s Club meeting & Annual Club Xmas Party was attended by 61 members.

GUESTS & NEW MEMBERS:
Don Amundson and his wife Lynda attended our December Club meeting to present his offer to conduct free safety inspections on our Club member vehicles.

SECRETARIES REPORT:
The Secretaries Report was skipped to save time for a 6:00pm Xmas Dinner start.

TREASURES REPORT:
The Treasures Report was skipped to save time for a 6:00pm Xmas Dinner start.

CORRESPONDENCE:
No Correspondence was provided at this Club meeting.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:
DONATIONS SUBCOMMITTEE –

2018 TIGERS ON THE COLUMBIA (TOTC) –  This report was skipped to save time for a 6:00pm Xmas Dinner Start.

OLD BUSINESS:
2019 Club Officer Candidate nominations were requested, but no nominations were offered up.

NEW BUSINESS:
Since no new officer nominations were introduced, a motion was made to have the four current Club officers continue their positions/duties/responsibilities for the 2019 year.  The attending membership unanimously approved this motion so Ted Knapp was re-elected as Club President, Gary Tischer was re-elected as Club Vice President, Wally Santella was re-elected as Club Secretary and Tom Willett was re-elected as Club Treasurer for 2019.

SHOP TALK:
Not held.

50/50 RAFFLE:
Not held.

MEETING ADJORNED:
The club’s business meeting adjourned at 5:55pm by our President, Ted Knapp.  Our next meeting will be at the Round Table Pizza in Burien on January 5th, 2019, at 5:00pm.

CLUB YEAR-END AWARDS:
The 2018 year-end award recognition’s were presented to the following members:
SPECIAL RECOGNITION:  Don Romero, Jim Braden, Barbara Brazil, Jack & Pat Borell, John Lund & Susan Buretta, Heather Henderson, Ed & Delores Forsyth, Bill Nelson, Don McLaughlin, Milt Vine, Jim Blodgett, Steve Ferkovich, Steve Martin, Ron Rupert, Patrick Kinsella, Charlie Brass, Greg Amundson, John Bozony and Ann Santella.
MARK BILYEU MEMORIAL MEMBER OF THE YEAR AWARD;  This year’s Member of the Year award was presented to two members, John Lund for his achivements over the last 5 years at leading our car show administration efforts and Lonnie Santella for his efforts this year at designing, developing and implement our new Club Managment System, G-Man,
EXTRAORDINARY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD:  This very special award was presented to John Lund & Susan Buretta for their efforts over the last 5 years of developing and enhancing Showtime, the system that was used to manage our car show events, and their efforts and energy, using this system to provide our car show registration, ballot tallying, and winners reporting.  The Club included a two day stay, along with meals,  for John & Susan at the Salish Lodge and Spa at Snoqualmie Falls to go along with this award.
