Northwest Legends Club Meeting Minutes
(September 9, 2023)
MEETING OPENED:
Meeting called to order at 6:15pm by our President, Bill Nelson at Amante Pizza and Pasta, in Kent, WA.
ATTENDANCE:
The meeting total attendance was 13.
GUESTS & NEW MEMBERS:
Two guests and no new members attended this Club Meeting.
SECRETARY’S REPORT:
The secretary was not present to read the meeting minutes.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
Tom Willett read the treasurer’s report.
CORRESPONDENCE:
There was no correspondence received recently.
GUEST SPEAKER OF THE MONTH:
There was no guest speaker.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Wally reported that the Griot’s and XXX shows need more promotion, especially the XXX, which was not advertised as a “Muscle Car” show, only a show put on by the GTO Legends. This needs to be fixed next year.
OLD BUSINESS:
Bill is promoting a Pumpkin Run to Puyallup on Oct 14th. Bill reminded everyone that Binford has Friday car shows except for the first Friday of the month so as not to conflict with the Enumclaw cruise. Bill is finalizing the Christmas party details at the Thunderdome on Dec 9th, attempting to have the Firebird club share the expenses. Tom will contact Gregories restaurant and Steve Ferkovich will check out some possible venues in or around Issaquah.
NEW BUSINESS:
Bill reported that the GTOAA Nationals will be in Springfield, Missouri in 2024, Pittsburg in 2025 and Loveland, CO in 2026.
50/50 RAFFLE: There was no 50/50 raffle.
SHOP TALK: Wally and several others discussed projects they are working on.

The club’s business meeting adjourned at 7:30pm by our President, Bill Nelson. The next club meeting will be on Saturday, October 7th at 6:00pm at Amante Pizza and Pasta, 21020 84th Ave South, Kent, WA.
