Northwest Legends Club Meeting Minutes
(July 12, 2025)
MEETING OPENED:
Meeting called to order at 6:12pm by our President, Bill Nelson at Amante Pizza and Pasta, in Kent, WA.
ATTENDANCE:
The meeting total attendance was 10.
GUESTS & NEW MEMBERS:
No guests and no new members attended this Club Meeting.
SECRETARY’S REPORT:
Bob Stevenson read the minutes from the June meeting.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
Bill Nelson read the treasurer’s report since Tom Willett was absent.
CORRESPONDENCE:
No correspondence this month.
GUEST SPEAKER OF THE MONTH:
There was no guest speaker.
OLD BUSINESS:
Bob brought up the issue of the computers becoming out of date because of Microsoft Windows support for Windows 10 expiring in October. The club also needs people to take over Lonnie’s duties as webmaster and GMAN administrator. Charles Stumpel mentioned his son may be a potential candidate, since he is good with computers.
NEW BUSINESS:
Tom Willet reported that he received two Pyle brand Bluetooth speakers to be used for the PA at our events. These will save us money vs renting the equipment each time.
Bill announced that there will be an All Pontiac Cruise In and Picnic September 6th at the Tappero’s home in Auburn. This is being hosted by the Firebird club and also our club. All members are encouraged to attend.
EVENT COMMITTEE:
Wally reported that the Griot’s Muscle Car show had 82 registrations, with 50 of those happening the morning of the show. We sold $75 worth of t-shirts. The Pop Keeney Muscle Car show is August 16th and the Firebirds All Pontiac Show at Griot’s is August 17th.
Ted talked about the 2026 Tigers event scheduled for The Dalles. Everything is pretty well set. Bill would like POCI to be a co-sponsor of the event so that we can utilize their advertising to get more exposure. The 2027 Tigers show will be in Richland.
50/50 RAFFLE: No raffle this month.
SHOP TALK: No shop talk this month.

The club’s business meeting was adjourned at 6:50pm by our President, Bill Nelson. The next club meeting will be on Saturday, August 2nd at 6:00pm at Amante Pizza and Pasta, 21020 84th Ave South, Kent, WA.
