GUEST SPEAKER OF THE MONTH:

OLD BUSINESS:
Bill discussed the upcoming Holiday party and it was stressed that only members will be invited, since the club is subsidizing each meal.
A discussion about the club computers resulted in a vote to purchase one Lenova laptop through Lonnie. Jim Braden and Wally are also buying identical computers for themselves and will use these as secondary and backups for the club when we are remote at club events.
NEW BUSINESS:
Bill opened nominations for club officers. The positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer are open. Bill was nominated for President, Ted Knapp for Vice President, Bob Stevenson for Secretary and Tom Willett for Treasurer. All four accepted their nominations. Nominations will be open until the Holiday Party, where the winners will be announced.
EVENT COMMITTEE:
Wally reported that we had 82 cars at the Muscle Car Show at Griot’s. This compared to 51 cars at this year’s Tigers on the Columbia. The Pop Keeney show had a threat of rain, but the day just turned out to be cloudy. Pop Keeney had 57 cars. It was agreed that good weather and a close venue contributed to the large number of day of show registrations at Griot’s. Wally asked for approval to put an ad in the Yellow Book for the 2026 Tigers show. After discussing what size ad should be taken out, it was approved by vote to have a 1/4 page ad. Wally to provide the ad to Yellow Book.
Ted talked about the 2026 Tigers event scheduled for The Dalles. Same discussion, all plans moving along. The city will block off the street for us to park around the Neon museum. The 2027 Tigers show is still being planned for Richland, with the Riverfront Hotel (formerly The Shilo) being the host hotel. GTOAA is working with Ted to try and bring the Nationals to our area in 2028. Ted is approaching all of the Indian casinos in the area to see if he can find an appropriate venue.
50/50 RAFFLE: No raffle this month.
SHOP TALK: No shop talk this month.
