Northwest Legends Club Meeting Minutes
(June 2, 2019)

MEETING OPENED:
Meeting called to order at 6:05pm by our Club President, Ted Knapp at the Round Table Pizza in Burien, WA.

ATTENDENCE:
June’s Club meeting was attended by 22 members.

GUESTS & NEW MEMBERS:
There were no guests or new members at the June Club Meeting.

SECRETARIES REPORT:
Wally Santella read the June Secretaries Report and May’s meeting minutes were posted to the Club Website.

TREASURES REPORT:
Tom Willett presented the June Treasures Report and provided the Club’s financial details for the period of May 1, 2019 thru May 31, 2019.

CORRESPONDENCE:
Wally
reported an email he received from Cole Lever.  Cole has a business called WhereiPark, that has a bunch of garages available in Seattle for the purposed of storing classic cars.  If you are interested, you can contact Cole at (415) 906-2226 and his email address is cole@whereipark.com.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:
DONATIONS SUBCOMMITTEE – Tom Willett
reminded the membership again about the possibility of our bringing some of our cars over to the Renton Technical Collage so that some of the students, such as those in the Ford Asset Program could ask questions and examine the GTO’s.

2018 TIGERS ON THE COLUMBIA (TOTC) – Ted & Wally provided a recap of the numbers of registrants (87), registered cars (82), sales of T-Shirts ($1,340.00), Award Banquet Meals purchased ($3,795.00), Water2Wine Dinner Cruise attendees (10) Yakima to Ellensburg Picnic/Cruise (36 for $540.00), hotel rebates (Red Lion = $810, Shilo Inn = $340, Marriot Court Yard = $30), and sponsorship support = $1,500.00. 

OLD BUSINESS:

eminded our membership that the next club meeting will be held on Jim Blodgett’s house in Maple Valley.  Tom will send out an email blast to all of our members about the July Club Meeting, with directions to Jim’s house.  The July Club meeting will start at 4:00pm.  Tom also reminded the membership about the July 7th, Historic Car Races.  People attending will have the opportunity to take their car out on the track for a couple of laps at 12:00pm.  Tom also talked about the Mercer Island Festival on July 14th, where they drive around the island. 

NEW BUSINESS:
John Lund
needs the help of someone to take pictures of his car to go with the article that he is writing for the Legend. 
John Pearson request 300 copies of our two muscle car show fliers.

SHOP TALK:  Wally Santella provided an update on the 68 GTO Convertible that he is restoring.  Wally says he is finishing the blocking of the car body and panels to get them ready for color and clear.

50/50 RAFFLE:  Greg Amundson won $41 and the Club received $40.

MEETING ADJORNED:
The club’s business meeting adjourned at 7:30pm by our President, Ted Knapp.  Our next meeting will be at Jim Blodgett’s house in Maple Valley, on July 6th, 2018, at 4:00pm.
